Hey Torch! (’cause you’re so bright)

This all got started by accident…
The kids in our family have been singing A Capella with Mr. Brunson every Saturday morning for 14 years.
Some years ago, a few close friends joined in, just for fun.
Then a few more, and a few more.
We became Robert & Friends, more than 20 kids singing for smiles.
There’s a long story behind that original group name…
We’ve performed at nursing homes, open-mics, even Dell Children’s Hospital.
That’s how we got here. Wilco Youth Chorus, singing and other things.
Mostly, we do this just for fun.
Bonus: Singing is a great way to put a smile on someone’s face.
Our “performances” are always pretty casual. But there’s nothing casual about seeing an old woman in a wheelchair crying when we sing her favorite hymn.
We have rehearsal every Saturday at 10:00a. Practice runs an hour or two.
Since we have so much fun, most kids try not to miss rehearsal.
If you can’t make it, that’s totally cool. You can just practice at home!
Everyone is the group is extremely talented. Some are even good at singing.
Check out our current song list here. Sheet music, we have.
Learning A Capella songs with us is easier than playing air guitar.
And it’s a great excuse to hang out at our house on Saturday mornings…
…when stuff like this happens.

What is “harmony?”
Harmony: two tones ringing in one accord.
Or is it something more?
